Pawrent finds family of foxes living underneath their porch, they make themselves at home on her welcome mat: ‘Their parents keep bringing stolen stuffed toys for them to play with’

How does it feel to be the luckiest person alive??

Imagine waking up every morning to baby fox pups sleeping on your front porch. It's like a Snow White Disney dream come true. We're not sure if we're happy or sad about this statement, but it's not just a dream for our pawrent below. We're happy because we get to experience it through her, but we're also insanely jealous.

Upon discovering the fox family living right outside her front door, she did the right thing - which was to post many cute pictures of the fox pups on the internet. She's also doing the correct thing by not attempting to bother them, or let them indoors.

If you know nothing about foxes, they are like dogs running on cat software. Foxes are skittish like cats but can be friendly like dogs. The one thing that sets theme apart from both species is their cackle. Yes, foxes actually laugh. Likewise, they also scream. The screams are not very pleasant, and can be quite loud. But, for all that cuteness, we think it's something we could handle.

No fateful ending, no hopeful adoptions, but just some outrageously cute pictures of fox pups. We're not jealous. We're not jealous. We're not jealous!

There are some downsides to having a family of foxes living underneath your porch - the first being all of their, how can we put this nicely? Droppings. Yes, having 5 fox pups and some parents around leaves quite a bit of waste, and foxes aren’t known for cleaning up after themselves. Do you think it’s worth it to clean up all their “leftovers” if it means you get a front row seat to watch fox pups play all day and night?

Fox puppies might be some of the cutest baby animals out there. We know that we say that about all baby animals, but we really mean it this time. If humans could choose one wild animal to domesticate in the future, we vote for foxes. Having a baby fox run around your house, causing mischief? That sounds like a wild rollercoaster, but one that we’re ready to ride.
